Bluffle ("the app") is a party games app published by the Bluffle development team. This page explains what data the app handles, why, and your choices. Most of what the app knows about you never leaves your phone.
When you first open Bluffle it asks you to set up a profile. All of it is saved in the app's local storage on your own device. None of it is uploaded to us, and none of it is shared with other players — except your display name, and only when you play online (see below).
Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, erases all of the above permanently. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Pass-and-play games work entirely offline and send nothing. The following applies only when you create or join an online room.
Bluffle is free and is paid for by advertising. We use Google AdMob to show banner ads and occasional full-screen ads between games. To do that, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier (a resettable ID assigned by the operating system), along with technical information such as your device model, coarse location derived from your IP address, and whether you viewed or tapped an ad.
This is the one place where data goes to a third party rather than to us or to a service acting on our behalf: Google and its advertising partners use that identifier to select and measure ads. It happens in every mode of the app, including pass-and-play. We never send AdMob your name, your age, your gender, your clues, or anything else you type in a game.
If the age you enter at setup is under 18, ad requests are flagged as coming from a user below the age of consent, which restricts them to non-personalised, age-appropriate ads.

Beyond the advertising described above, the app contains no analytics SDKs — including Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics — and we do not sell your data or build a profile of you.
Bluffle includes adult card categories — sexual themes, drinking dares
and similar — marked 18+ in the app. These are switched off
by default for everyone, and they are hidden entirely unless the age you
entered during setup is 18 or over. Games that are adult throughout,
such as the drinking game Picco, do not appear at all below that age.
The age check relies on what you tell us. It is not verified, and a determined user can defeat it by entering a different age. Parents supervising a shared device should keep that in mind.
When you leave a room your member record — including your display name — is deleted immediately. Room records themselves are not deleted automatically: once a game ends, the room document remains in the database until we remove it. It contains the room code, game state and the display names of players who were still in the room at the end. You can ask us to delete a specific room using the contact address below. We hold no long-term player profiles and no way to link a room back to you beyond the anonymous ID.
Bluffle is not directed at children. The app is for players aged 13 and over, and the adult categories described above require a declared age of 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
The name, age and gender collected at setup are stored only on the device and are never sent to us or to our advertising partner, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them completely. If a child has played online and you want the associated room data removed, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
